What is an assisted move?
An assisted move is a fantastic option for anyone wanting to buy a new home. An assisted move with Space Homes allows you to reserve a brand new home whilst we help you to sell your existing property quickly and easily. We’re currently offering assisted moves at two of our developments: Ellerwood in Skipton and Castle Locke in Knaresborough.
How does assisted move work?

You’ll start by finding the home that’s perfect for you in our collection of homes at either our Ellerwood or Castle Locke development.

You’ll then choose a specialist to carry out a no obligation valuation of your property.

If at this point you’re happy to proceed, you’ll be able to reserve your chosen plot under our Assisted Move Scheme. Once you’ve done this, the marketing period for your current home will begin, and our local agent will take care of your home’s marketing.

Once a buyer is found who is able to move, we’ll instruct solicitors and proceed with the sale.

Within 6 weeks, contracts will be exchanged which means we’ll be able to give you 10 days notice of your new home being ready to move into.

On legal completion, we’ll then be able to contribute towards your estate agent fees.
What are the benefits of assisted move?
