The town also connects directly to Calderdale’s wider network of scenic routes, including parts of the Calderdale Way, Brighouse Boundary Walk, and the peaceful Calder & Hebble Navigation towpath for relaxed riverside walking or cycling. Nearby nature reserves such as Cromwell Bottom offer wetlands, woodland and rich wildlife just minutes from the centre. Brighouse is well connected by both rail and road, with its railway station providing two platforms serving key destinations across West Yorkshire and beyond. Platform 1 offers services towards Huddersfield and Leeds, while Platform 2 provides direct links to Manchester Victoria and additional services to Leeds via Halifax and Bradford Interchange.

Regular bus services operate through Brighouse, offering convenient connections to Bradford and Halifax, as well as an hourly service to Leeds. The town is also served by strong road links connecting Brighouse northwards to Bradford and southwards to Huddersfield, supporting efficient regional travel and commuting.
