Transport

Linthwaite is close to the A62, which connects the village with Huddersfield in just a 15 minute car journey. Junction 24 on the M62 is just 6 miles from the village, making the village a great base from which to commute to the larger towns and cities within the wider area. Bus lines which stop near Linthwaite include the 184, 382 and 383. The 382 runs from Wiberlee to Huddersfeld, whilst the 383 runs from Marsden to Huddersfield. The 382 stops along Manchester Road in Linthwaite, whilst the 383 stops along Manchester Road and Hoyle House Fold in Linthwaite. The 184 bus line runs from Oldham to Huddersfield and also stops along Manchester Road. Linthwaite’s nearest train station is just 2 miles away in Slaithwaite. Services from the station run between Manchester Piccadilly and Huddersfield, Hull and Manchester and there’s also services to York via Castleford from the station too.
