Shopping in Leeds!

With Christmas on the horizon, our Space Homes team decided to take a trip into the city to see what shopping was on offer.

We couldn’t help but notice the unique character Leeds holds. From the traditional Leeds market, home to a variety of cuisine and shops, to the historic buildings that line the infamous ‘Briggate’ high street. Walking through this bustling city was something quite special.

Near Kirkgate market is the Corn Exchange. This Victorian building stands out as a ‘must see’ shopping centre, with independent boutiques and food traders filling the oval building.

If you’re looking for something designer, Victoria Gate will have something to your taste. Combining the 1990 Victoria Quarter to the 2016 Victoria Gate has made for this luxury shopping centre.

Not to forget the Trinity centre. A huge shopping centre with a cinema, a range of restaurants and of course, high street shopping galore!

Leeds has a huge range of arcades for you to explore, each with its own distinctive style and retailers on offer. We loved Victoria Quarter with its impressive aesthetics and unmistakeable character.

We loved our shopping trip so much; that we can’t wait for the New Year sales. Keep an eye out for our next blog post, as we plan to explore why Leeds is the perfect place for foodies!
