As our teams are currently working from home, we’ve been catching up virtually with our colleagues. This week we caught up with Leanne, a key member of the sales team here at Space Homes.

This week, we gave Leanne some questions - working from home style!



WHAT DOES YOUR TYPICAL DAY AT WORK LOOK LIKE?
I wake at 8am, have a healthy breakfast and get ready to start work for 9am. I always make a check list of things to do at the beginning of the day to keep track of my workload.

Myself and the sales team make sure we keep in touch every day, which is really important when we're all working from home.

I'm responsible for keeping our customers up to date with the latest information, especially with covid-19 effecting some parts of the buyers process. This has been our top priority throughout lockdown so myself and our team have been ensuring information is as clear as possible.

With lots in the pipeline, part of my role is also to respond to enquiries regarding new developments. Space Homes are providing new homes all across Yorkshire which keeps me busy with responding to customers who are on the hunt for a new home.

WHERE IS YOUR WORK STATION?

I usually work in my conservatory at home where I find it easier to concentrate; it’s bright and airy and I am able to look out onto the garden.

WHAT'S YOUR TOP TIP FOR KEEPING MOTIVATED WHILST WORKING FROM HOME?

I think sticking to a regular routine helps me to stay motivated. I go for a walk at lunch time, this helps me to relax and come back refreshed for the afternoon.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT YOUR JOB?

The enjoyment of taking a reservation and knowing I have potentially helped a customer secure their dream home and get onto the property ladder.

WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU'LL DO AFTER LOCKDOWN?

Go visit family and friends and enjoy being able to socialise face to face again.
