Here at Space Homes, we know that it's not just the home that our customers should fall in love with, it's the community too. That's why we're committed to helping and supporting the communities we build in across the Yorkshire region.

With this in mind, we began our mission to help improve local communities in Sherburn in Elmet, the location of our largest development so far, Hodgsons Gate.

Over the past month we've been working to raise money for The Peter Pan Nursery in Sherburn in Elmet; a local charity supporting children and families with additional needs. 

Peter Pan Nursery is a charity funded nursery for children under 5 with additional needs. Established by Gwan Sykes in 1985, the nursery provides a loving, caring, safe environment with professionals and volunteers looking after the children. Last week we were invited along to meet the staff, volunteers and children at the nursery. After a tour around the nursery, meeting a bunch of amazing people and learning about how they help both children and families from the surrounding area, we were left inspired and motivated to work even harder to raise money in the future.

So far, Space Homes have donated over £200 to help fund their new sensory room and contribute towards overall running costs. We can't wait for more fund raising in the future!
