Interior Inspiration at Cromwell Gardens

 
Recently launched in Rastrick is our brand-new development Cromwell Gardens. We decided to team up with Interhouse design, to design our Malhamdale Split Show Home.
 
After the designers dressed our five-bedroom Show Home, we caught up with them to find out the inspiration behind their design. While making their final touches, we went behind the scenes to find out what interior trends were used and why!
 
 

What was your inspiration for our Malhamdale Split Show Home at Ellerwood?

The development has fantastic access to the cities of Leeds and Manchester and so in a nod to that, we wanted to create a sleek, contemporary home with a rich, warm palette. Modern linear panelling, colour blocking and pale gold highlights set the tone of the design and we added warm woods and greenery for softness. A timeless look doesn’t have to mean traditional.
 

Which room is your favourite & what was the inspiration behind it?

The kitchen is a fantastic space allowing, for a large dining table, a home working area and there’s still plenty of room for dancing!

We found an amazing, quirky, palm wallpaper and styled the rest of the room around this focal point, bringing in golds and statement blue tones.
 

What’s next for you and Space Homes?

Later on this year, we’ll be installing Space Homes’ next showhome in the wonderful market town of Knaresbrough, which is not far from our design studio.

We can’t wait to show you what we have in store but we’ve taken it up a notch with the colour palette. Watch this space!
